Jason Aldean has shared the music video for his new song “Let Your Boys Be Country,” starring his five-year-old son, Memphis. Aldean explained that the song is about the “simpler parts of life,” and said of childhood: “make it simple, let it be enjoyable. Whether it’s going outside and playing sports, going to hunt… whatever it is. Just let them be innocent for now.”
“Let Your Boys Be Country”, written by Allison Veltz Cruz, Jaron Boyer, and Micah Wilshire, is one of fourteen tracks on Jason Aldean’s 11th studio album Highway Desperado, which was released on November 3rd. To stream, head here.
